Greenwood furniture Working with greenwood and using traditional methods we make furniture that's influenced by classic designs but uses the natural shapes and curves of the wood. Each part of the chairs and bench above use the original shapes of the wood they were made from, making for an individual quality and a greater strength than furniture made from sawn timber.

We make furniture on commission and we keep a small stock in our workshop

We use English hardwoods, beech, oak, ash sweet-chestnut etc. They all come from woods near London or even from the London parks themselves.

A lot of the intial work in making greenwood furniture is done in the woods, where the tree was felled. I split lengths of tree trunk to find suitable pieces of wood and then get them close to their final shape before they go back to the workshop.
